Raem is a lucky, snobby Traveler esk who, despite his good intentions, has a tendency to make more enemies than friends. His boundary is deep in a tropical, salty sea, the ruins of a trading ship called the "Majesty". He was a hand on this ship, stuck in a boiler room cleaning the pipes when the ship sank for an unknown reason. He managed to clamber up to the deck, but it was too late; he couldn't see anything. He still tried to swim, but in the darkness, swam down instead of up, and he was transformed by some force as the ship was about to come down on his leg, giving him just enough energy to avoid getting his tail pinned under the ship. Now, in his second life, he cultivates the few plants that grow within his boundary, feeding the animals on the porcelain plates that the Majesty was shipping.
